Vent the Dryer!

This idea came to me when I bought a new tumble dryer. The problem was where to situate the dryer, near to a plug socket and also near to a door or window to stick the vent hose through. The best site was found to be in the conservatory, near the front door. (then I could hang the hose out the door!)

I put a load in and set it going -Perfect, it was venting through the open door and drying the clothes nicely. But then I had to go out. Not wanting to leave the door open, or stop the dryer, I hunted for a new soloution.

Suddenly it hit me, if I squashed the hose, it would fit into the letterbox! -Excelent, so I propped open the outer flap with a shoe brush and the dryer was venting nicely!

Next morning I put another load in the dryer and set it going. I had forgotten that the postman would be around later. You should have seen the look on the postman's face when he tryed to post my letters and got a blast of warm air!

 

  
 

 

 

 

 

Stocking Soloutions!

Where I live in the states, it gets very cold in the winter. One way of warming up is when we use our dryer, we stick a ladys stocking over the vent hose (after shes thrown it away of course), and voila! Warm air, no dust or lint floating around!

Ladys stockings. Absolutely the best thing to filter any paint through before adding it to my spray rig for a paintjob.
